I need your advice hun, I've decided recently to quit smoking and vaping and it is NOT easy chick! I'm almost at a week but I'm really struggling, do you have any tips for me? cheers darlin!

Hey hun,
A big pat on the back for you! 💕 Quitting anything requires a lot of willpower and I’m dead proud of you for going a whole week without it. Having a few different ways of distracting yourself is definitely going to make things a bit easier, as I’m sure the gaps where you would have been vaping or smoking are now very obvious throughout your day. Download an app that tracks how long it’s been since you quit smoking or vaping. If you can gamify the process then you won’t want to break your streak, and some of them will even show you how much money you’ve saved or the different ways your body is healing day by day. Have a read of the r/stopsmoking subreddit so you feel less alone on your journey and maybe even chat to other people doing the same thing as you. If you’re on a night out, don’t head out to the smokers section because the temptation will be too strong - especially when you’re a few drinks down! Ask one of your mates to stay inside the club or bar with you for moral support. I’ve also heard really good things about Allen Carr’s ‘Easy Way To Stop Smoking’ book (Not this Alan Carr 😅) It’s got thousands of good reviews and there’s also a free summary of it on YouTube. Finally hun, set some rewards for yourself for different milestones - 1 month, 3 months, 6 months etc. Use the money you’ve saved from not buying cigarettes or vapes to treat yourself to something really nice! You deserve it for being such a health conscious hun. If you do happen to relapse don’t beat yourself up either hun, for some people giving up an addictive substance isn’t a straight line - but as long as you grant yourself the space to fail and the courage to try again, you won’t be long getting back on track. With the Y2K outfits, makeup and even a Britney cameo within the first few seconds - it’s such a throwback huns! Look out for the employee selling a mum who wants her little girl to be “tan for her school pictures” the tanning ‘cocktail’ of a sunbed THEN a spray tan - which he says Lindsay Lohan gets 😅 Outrageous! I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of Emma Rae’s new sizzling summer romance ‘Love Game’ to review - and it was just the flirty and very spicy escapism I needed huns! 💘 The story follows 26 year old Elle Caraway, a self professed “average” girl with a wasteman cheating boyfriend who lands her dream job as a personal chef to dead handsome and successful tennis player Nicky Salco as he trains for Wimbledon. Women all over the world want to be with Nicky, but he is seemingly taken by his very glam and judgemental fiancée Mackenzie. That’s why it’s a huge surprise to Elle when she finds herself growing closer to Nicky during their late night rendezvous in the kitchen... I won’t spoil it but this story unfolds into a very spicy tale indeed huns 🍆 I got sucked into it VERY quickly - an easy and enjoyable blushing beach read for your summer holibobs 🥵 The book is out May 16th x

“As soon as I saw that I realised concealer lips. Like why did we do it and why is it making a come back it needs to be burnt”

“I plucked all of my eyebrows off and then would just draw them back on, but this was 2007 and quality eyebrow products were just not a priority for makeup brands back then! I used to have to carry an eyebrow pencil EVERYWHERE with me from either Rimmel or Bourjois because if I accidentally wiped off some eyebrow I’d have nothing underneath it. Pic attached of my beautiful hand drawn brow 🥴”

“M.A.C lipstick in Cyber! Really dark blackish purple plum colour that had such a hold on us in 2012 🙈 I thought looked so edgy but really it made my lips look so small 😭 xx”
